Debbie Smith

Debbie Smith is an Accountant by profession with 20+ years of accounting experience that spans from government to banking, hospital and utility industries.  She is a multi-talented professional who embraces a challenge to achieve organizational goals.  Debbie is a Delaware transplant by way of the military.  She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Southern Mississippi and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Delaware State University.  She went on to receive a certificate in diversity, equity, and inclusion from Cornell University. She is currently serving as Bayhealth’s first manager of diversity, equity, and inclusion, where she manages all things diversity, equity, and inclusion for its 4,600+ team members. She brings years of experience of community engagement to this work.
